1. Assorted sockets and wrenches
2. +,- Screwdriver
3. Assorted pliers
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Beginning with the drivers side, unplug the Mass Airflow Sensor (MAS) and unclip the wire from the air box. Note: Once the MAS is disconnected do not start vehicle. Check Engine Light will go on and will need to be reset by a dealer. 3. Loosen the clamp on the rubber intake tube and remove the bolt that holds the air box in using a 10mm socket.
4. Lift the air box out. It will require a firm tug to release it from the rubber grommets on the bottom.
5. Now you will need to assemble the Stillen air box. On the inside of the air box, you will find a part number, the number ending in -01 is the driver's side.
6. Insert 1 filter into the air box. Slip one of the inlet tubes through the hole in the back of the air box and into the filter. Make sure the intake tube is bottomed out in the filter and tighten the clamp.
7. Set the air box into place into the vehicle and slide the intake tube into rubber intake tube. Do not tighten the clamp yet.
8. Make sure the nipple on the bottom of the air box is aligned with the rubber grommet in the frame rail and install the bolt.
9. Rotate the intake tube/filter until the MAS mounting boss is in the approximate position as the OEM air box. Tighten the clamp.
10. Remove the MAS from the OEM air box and install it into the new intake tube. Make sure the rubber seal stays in place around the top of the MAS.
11. Plug in the MAS connector.
12. The assembly and installation of the other side is the same.
13. After both air boxes are installed and the MAS sensors are plugged in, reconnect the battery.
14. You are now finished with the installation, and can now enjoy the benefits of the Stillen Hi-Flow intake system.
